In 2012, the D-Town Brass participated in a public rehearsal and recording session live in front of a studio audience at Durham’s Motorco Music Hall as part of their winter Artist In Residence program.   The session was overseen by recordist Sean Murphy and these tapes were then immediately stuffed into the bottom of Andy Magowan’s junk drawer for all eternity.
